Bella Sings Sinatra

Why We Don't Drink Carbonated Beverages

Today we tried something new... a soda, as we have heard our VIH call it. This soda was absolutely terrible! How can you humans drink that stuff!?! It gave us the weirdest feelings in our mouths, one that nature did not certainly intend. And what could make an event this bad become even worse? Our VIH capturing all of it on the camera.

VIH, what do you have there? That looks tasty!

Oh God, that is horrible! Get that feeling out of my mouth!

My VIH cut this picture off, but you can clearly see my disgust over the soda.

Wow, that's pretty bad! VIH, I hope I never have to see soda again!

The Chis Get A Taste of Italy With Ricotta Cheese

VIH, thank you, this is wonderful! Now if I can just manage to keep standing on my back legs...

Sporting some ricotta cheese mustaches.

Bella And Her Paper

Something interesting you may not know about me: I LOVE PAPER. I love everything about it: the variation of colors and textures it comes in, its chewability, and most importantly, it's shredability. You can give me a piece of paper and I can obliterate it in seconds. About six or seven months ago I single-pawedly shredded my VIH's check ledger. I was pretty proud about how quickly I accomplished this great feat, a whole little booklet of papers turned into nothing but paper bits. In celebration I flung the paper bits all over the house; it was one of the best days of my life! But for some reason my VIH didn't want to share in my victory with me when she got home. Maybe it was because she had to pick up all the little, teeny, tiny pieces of paper I threw around the house? I'm not sure, but ever since I was hooked to what you humans call paper.

Daisy, silly dog, you can't have that paper... it belongs to me!

Don't mind me...

Chihuahua Reserve

VIH, now that you just got back from Napa, we just have one question for you:

Did you pick up some 2004 Chihuahua Reserve wine???

VIH Where Are You Going?

You have all these bags packed like you are going somewhere... do I get to come with you? I'm small enough; I would make the perfect stowaway!

Miss Bella + Nylabone = LOVE

Chihuahuas and Nylabones... one of the world's greatest romances!

Say It Ain't So!

I Am So Embarrassed!!!

VIH, I know you like to take lots of pictures of us, but is this one really necessary? I look absolutely TERRIBLE in this picture... and with my great looks, I can't have this negative type of press going around.

Bella Hides

Maybe if I just stay awhile down here, no one will notice me.

Ah yes, quite the perfect hiding place. Certainly no one can spot me here.

Hey, Diego, how did you find me? Get out of here; you'll blow my newest hiding spot!
Oh well, I guess I'll... wait... oh darn! VIH, how did you know where I was?

Election 2008

Most people are familiar with the Republican and Democratic parties:

But on this election year, why not register with a more powerful political party? One with more prestige, a party that truly cares about the people... and the Chihuahuas that love them.

We suggest for your consideration the Equal Chihuahua Party:

Bella Decides To Eat Diego

You may be awfully tiny... but I'll bet that leg of yours tastes like chicken!

Chi Grooming

As Chihuahuas, we learn that we need to take care of each other in a pack. And let's be honest, sometimes there are things that we just cannot do on our own. A perfect example of this would be grooming our face. How can we keep it clean? We can't just walk up to a sink on all fours and lather our paws up with soap like you humans do. So we rely on each other to keep our faces looking puppy pretty.

Thank you, Diego, the bottom of my mouth has been rather dirty lately!

And now it's your turn!

Diego Up To His Old Tricks

Maybe if I sneak this shoe outside, I can really chomp on it without being caught!
Hey, VIH, how did you find me??? I am so busted!

The Look of Love

Don't we just look so sweet and innocent when we are sleeping?

The Pack Speaks At A Convention

Every year we make it a point to speak at an event that supports important issues facing Chihuahuas today. Last year it was the I May Be Small, But That Doesn't Mean I Always Want To Be In A Purse convention. This year, it was the 2008 Treats convention... because no Chihuahua should have to face life without a treat.

Doing our part for the betterment of Chihuahuas everywhere.

Diego Getting Into Some Trouble...

" Mmmmm... lick, lick... I swear... lick, lick... I can almost taste the mushrooms that were in this pan!"

VIH, Why must you do this to us?

We all know our VIH loves us. She showers us with constant kisses, hugs, belly rubs, scratches, treats and love. We always get new toys and sleep in bed with her at night where it is soft and very warm. We have each other during the day when she is gone, and when she comes home she does her very best to give us lots of attention to make up for it. We always have fresh water and kibble, and a few times a week we even get that kibble mixed with rice or cheese or meat. We know we are very lucky pups, and we love our VIH very much. We just want to know one thing...

WHY must you stick that camera thing smack in our faces and make the light flash right when we are trying to rest?

If only she was awake to realize it...

Why I Love Soft Blankets

Extremely soft and cushy blankets are one of the best things that humans have created. There are only a few things that give me such a fantastic thrill as the sight and feel of that special softness against my short-haired coat. I think my VIH is a little bothered with me though. There is this one particular blanket of hers which I really love... she calls it her bathrobe... and I just cannot get enough of it. It's perfectly soft and warm and reminds me of being a tiny little pup again. Just take a look at the picture of me below:

Can you find a better example of complete and total bliss? I think not.

Another Priceless Moment Brought To You By Daisy

I love my belly rubs!

Oooooh, yes, that's the spot... aaaaaaah... feels so nice... drifting off to a better place...
