One Hot Weekend!
These past few days have been soooo hot!!! Yesterday our VIH took us to the dog park to play with other Chihuahuas, and all we could do was pant and sit in the shade. We think she saw how hot we were because thankfully we didn't stay too long. We are very lucky that our home is air conditioned! Even though our native land of Mexico can get pretty warm in the summer months, our tiny bodies can still get pretty toasty! Lately we've just been laying around anywhere that seems less warm, spreading our legs out to let our tummies keep cool. It provides us some relief:

The Black Wonder At Play
Sometimes even SuperPuppies need to take a break from their strenuous daily duties to have a little fun! But as the Black Wonder I make doubly sure that no one can detect me, even at play:
Ready to play, I don the mask necessary for me to partake in such merriment.
And now that no one can see me, I PLAY!!! I will get you green plastic ring, you cannot escape from the BLACK WONDER!!!

The Plight of the Chihuahua
Maybe you are not aware of this, but being a Chi is very difficult work. All that running, barking and playing can really take the energy right out of you! As you can see in this picture:
Here my VIH has to hold me up for the picture! I am soooo tired that I can't even spare the two seconds to pose and look cute for the camera. It's sad, I tell you. And then there's this one:
Look at my little head! It's all lopsided, I can't even keep it up (or my ears, for that matter)! And my eyes are literally drifting off, despite the flash. You need to walk in the paws of a Chihuahua to truly understand.

What does a Chi need to do to get some sleep around here? It's nice Diego is so comfortable and resting; meanwhile, I can hardly breathe!!!
